CrunchLabs leverages turnkey Recharge products to create a seamless customer experience

My name is Jim Lee, I work at Crunch Labs, I'm the COO, and I work with Mark Rober, who's this great YouTuber that gets kids and adults stoked about science and learning.

We brought that to kids into STEM toys in a monthly subscription. And every month, kids get this really cool, fun product to build themselves and then play with in a lot of ways. And so when we hit the market in June of 2022, we sold out in just a few days. And we faced those challenges together with Recharge to prepare for the massive scale.

Repeat purchases are really important for our business. Every kid or every person who subscribes to CrunchLabs gets the same box. And then they get the same second box. And that recurring subscription is possible because of Recharge. For us, that's important because it helps kids go through our curriculum.

When we were building Crunch Labs, we looked at a lot of different solutions, including a custom site and system that would allow us to do recurring subscriptions. But we realized quickly that this was something that we didn't want to go out and spend a bunch of money and time building ourselves.

Recharge had something that worked out of the box that we could also customize.
