When does the 30-day trial period for the Standard plan begin?
The 30-day trial period for the Standard plan begins on the day you install the Recharge app for your store.
When does billing begin, and what is the billing cycle?
You will not be charged any fees during your trial period. After the trial is over, your recurring billing cycle will begin. Recharge follows a monthly billing cycle. You will be billed after the first full billing cycle you complete, not including the free trial period.
How does pricing work?
Depending on the plan you select, your total monthly charges will include a fixed monthly fee, plus variable fees based on your usage in the most recent billing cycle. Please review the pricing plans to compare your options.
What is an add-on?
An add-on provides further enhancement or capabilities to your Subscriptions product.
How is usage-based pricing calculated?
Usage fees differ by plan and only apply to all transactions processed by Recharge per month. Pricing includes a fee for each transaction, plus a small percentage of the total amount processed by Recharge in the latest billing cycle.
Is the pricing for Recharge distinct from ecommerce platform fees?
Yes. All pricing for Recharge is in addition to any other services or solutions your store may utilize, such as your ecommerce platform, payment processor, and any other ecommerce applications.
Is pricing for Recharge any different for merchants on Shopify Plus?

Can I negotiate a lower usage fee for my store?
Yes. Through the Custom plan, tailored pricing, which includes discounts, is available to merchants with high processing volumes. To learn more, please contact our Sales team.
Is there a contract?
The Standard and Pro plans are offered on month-to-month contracts. Longer term contracts are available with the Custom plan.
